January 8 – Business meeting – St. Matthews City Hall (members only)
January 10 – Meeting of Book Club at St. Matthews City Hall starting at 1 p.m. All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr
January 17 – Volunteer at SOS (Supplies Overseas)
January 22 – Zoe Tungate discussing mentoring for younger women. 10:30 a.m. at CIty Hall

February 12 – Business meeting – St. Matthews City Hall (members only)

February 26 – The Arts and Culture Program will be held at St. Matthews City Hall starting at 10:30 a.m. Our Speaker will be Cassie Russell-Dossett, a local artist who designed Governor Beshear’s 2022 Derby Celebration Poster. She has a gallery in the Highlands called House of Bleu.
March 4 – Volunteer at SOS (Supplies Overseas)
March 11 – Business meeting – St. Matthews City Hall (members only)
March 13 – Meeting of Book Club at St. Matthews City Hall starting at 1 p.m. The Story of Arthur Truluv by Elizabeth Berg.
March 16 – Tea party at Belmont Village Senior Living, Second Floor, 4600 Bowling Boulevard, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. to establish mentoring relationship between Club members and area young women. POSTPONED – NEW DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED.
March 18 – Volunteer at SOS (Supplies Overseas)
March 20 – SOS Breakfast at The Olmsted beginning at 7 a.m.
March 22-23 – 2024 GFWC Kentucky Annual Convention, Griffin Gate Marriott, Newtown Pike, Lexington, Kentucky. GFWC KY Call
March 25 – Troy Armstrong from the St. Matthews Police Department will be talking about public safety including how to act in the event of an active shooter. St. Matthews City Hall starting at 10:30 a.m. This is our Civil and Community Outreach Program. Members are requested to wear their new club shirts so pictures can be taken.
April 1 – Volunteer at SOS (Supplies Overseas)
April 8 – Business meeting is cancelled because of the eclipse. Necessary business will be discussed at the March 25 Program.
April 10 – Meeting of Book Club at St. Matthews City Hall starting a 1 p.m. Earth’s the Right Place for Love by Elizabeth Berg
April 15 – Volunteer at SOS (Supplies Overseas)

June 3 – Scholarship Recipients Reception – Belmont Village Senior Living St. Matthews, 4600 Bowling Blvd. At this time, we will be collecting for St. MAM personal care items: toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, shampoo, feminine hygiene products, etc.

August 26 – Environmental Program – Karen Maynard of the Department of Public Works and Solid Waste Management. Part of her presentation will focus on recycling.

September 23 – Field trip to WaterStep, 625 Myrtle Avenue, Louisville, KY 40208. 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Dress casually. Bring shoes to donate. First part of activity will be matching shoes that have been donated. Second part will be a tour of the facility.
